Notice Regarding Change of Executive Officers
Kirin Holdings Company, Limited (President and CEO: Yoshinori Isozaki; hereafter “Kirin Holdings”) hereby announces that the board today resolved the change of executive officers of Kirin Holdings and Kirin Company, Limited (hereafter “Kirin Company”), one of its subsidiaries.
1.Reasons for the Change
In line with “Kirin Group 2016-2018 Medium-term Business Plan” announced on February 15, 2016, Kirin Holdings is promoting one of the key initiatives, “Invest, strengthen, and grow profit base in the beer business.” As for Myanmar Brewery Limited (hereafter “Myanmar Brewery”), which was acquired in 2015, Kirin Holdings aims to strengthen its position as beer market leader in Myanmar.
As a step forward, the board has determined to appoint Takeshi Minakata as Senior Executive Officer in charge of the business in Myanmar, and as residing director of Myanmar Brewery in order to strengthen its management.
Takeshi Minakata is due to be appointed as Managing Director of Myanmar Brewery on April 1, 2016. After the appointment, Hiroshi Fujikawa, current Managing Director, will continue as Director of Myanmar Brewery.
In addition, the board has resolved on the change of executive officers of Kirin Holdings and Kirin Company.
